Taurasi DOCG is a red wine appellation in Irpina, a sub-region of Campania. The name comes from Ellenico, meaning “Greek.” Also grown in Pompeii; bought to
Italy by the Greeks over 2000 years ago. A massive wine with plenty of tannins and high acidity; should be aged for quite a while. Tasting Notes: Stewed boysenberry, fresh cracked pepper soy....very dry and tannic.
